Having over 14 years of DIT experience, working with tier-one clients from Ford and Chevy to Dell and Salesforce, Digital Film Tech is capable of meeting a variety of needs.  We pride ourselves on our custom-built hardware solutions, which allow us to reduce processing time and enhance reliability. We have worked on-set and in-the-field with cameras from Arri, Sony, and RED, our custom-built computer rig is capable of chewing through the toughest of transcodes. Including recording codecs like Arri .MXF RAW, RED R3D and Sony X-OCN. Our team can utilize a variety of workflows to meet your productions needs. That includes live grading or delaying grading with monitoring on Flanders color calibrated monitors. 

Seeing a need in the community four years ago, we added VTR to our list of services.  Headed up by my primary on-set operator, Ryan Bovee, we aim to provide video assistance for the top tier broadcast commercial market. VTR services can be provided by itself or why not save yourself time and money by bundling with a DIT package.  We have a robust Qtake based workflow with tons of monitors and the latest in wireless video systems. 

Are you a post house that is overwhelmed with the amount of footage you have to transcode? Maybe you received transcoded footage from a production and it's out of spec and poorly organized. Want to streamline your workflow without having to hire additional staff? We can help! Open to project-based or long-term contracts, we take your high res 4k, 8k RAW, or compressed files from any camera and provide easier to manage footage for your offline edit. Tech specs can be customized to your needs and individual workflow.  Additional assistance with syncing production audio, adding a basic REC 709 lut or even a full first pass color grade, allowing you more time to focus on your client's needs during the offline editing process. 

Have an idea for a custom part, upgrade or even a brand new accessory to better meet your production needs? This could range from a technical addition to a camera, focus pulling station, monitor, Teradek, or even an organizational solution for a producer/PM/ PC. We start with your rough idea, design it, and then 3D print it in high-grade PLA or ABS plastics.  Prototype options are available for items needed in metal.  3D printing is ideally suited to a production environment, where you need exact precision, and custom shape/size but lowish volume. We target the macro to small-size commercial market, with a need for a fast turnaround. If you are looking for a high-quality production at a low budget, let us know!
